Festive opening of the new Lissevoort Youth Park in Nuenen

On Monday, March 16, at 3:30 p.m., Alderman Löwik will officially open the new Lissevoort Youth Park. Will you come take a look and try out the youth park? It is located across from Lissevoort 23. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be served at the opening. 

Following the success of the skate park at Pastoorsmast, we now have a second large playground in Nuenen: the Lissevoort youth park, located on the former mini golf course. It has an artificial turf soccer field, a basketball court, a table tennis table, a climbing course, and various seating and resting areas. There is something for everyone.

This play and exercise facility is primarily intended for young people in Nuenen between the ages of 12 and 20. More than 120 young people have told the municipality about their dreams and wishes for this place. The name Jeugdpark Lissevoort (Lissevoort Youth Park) was born out of an initial brainstorming session with a few young people from Nuenen and the LEV group. Local residents also contributed their ideas and shared their tips and wishes. The youth park was designed in collaboration with a few motivated young people and local residents.
