In Nuenen-Zuid, at address Refeling 60, there is a multi-tenant business building that houses some practice spaces, including those of a physiotherapist. The owner of the property submitted a request in principle in 2023 to demolish the current building and build a new apartment complex with 29 homes and retain some practice areas. 

On Tuesday, March 4, Alderman Patrick Kok signed a letter of intent on behalf of the college with developer Gert-Jan Veraa for the development of the plan. This marks an important step toward its implementation. The plan as it now stands includes: 

• 8 social owner-occupied apartments; 
• 12 mid-purchase apartments; 
• 9 more expensive owner-occupied apartments; 
• 4 treatment or practice rooms; 
• Parking, partly provided in an underground parking garage, as well as in the outdoor area.

The plan is characterized by a green environment. 

The developer will now start preparing for the Spatial Planning procedure. He will apply for an environmental permit for an off-plan environmental planning activity. In this he must justify why the housing plan can go ahead. In parallel, the participation process previously initiated by the developer will be continued.
