Inspections in the blue parking zone

Since late 2019, the blue (parking) zone has been in effect in most of downtown Nuenen. Following a previous review, we have made a few adjustments. For example, the blue zone has been lifted for the parking spaces on Vincent van Goghplein and on Margot Begemannstraat.

Because we, as a municipality, continue to support the blue zone and believe it is important that it be used properly, we will be conducting more frequent inspections from October 16, 2026, through the end of the year. This is because, in the fall, people tend to use their cars more often to run errands when the weather is bad. Parking is also busier in the weeks leading up to the holidays.

That is why we are conducting inspection rounds twice a week during this period. Health will therefore ensure that you use your parking disc correctly. Our goal is to make residents and visitors to our downtown area more aware of the proper use of the blue zone.
