Changes to the recycling center and waste collection on May 29, 2026

Due to the forecast high temperatures, the recycling center will be open on Friday, May 29, in the morning instead of in the afternoon. You can visit the recycling center from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. There will be noafternoon hours on Friday. This is a precautionary measure to protect staff and visitors from the extreme heat.

In addition, revised collection times apply to waste:

• On Friday, trash collection starts as early as 6:30 a.m.(instead of 7:30 a.m.). 
• If trash is put out too late, the collection truck will not return.
