Bravoflex is now also available in Nuenen
On Thursday, April 30, Bravoflex—a supplement to the existing public transportation system—officially launched in Southeast Brabant. In the municipality of Nuenen, new Bravoflex stops have been installed on Collseweg, in Opwetten / Nuenen-West, and on Rullen. There is also a Bravoflex stop in Stad van Gerwen (municipality of Son en Breugel).
Book a ride by phone or through the app
Bravoflex operates without fixed routes or schedules. This new way of traveling connects small towns, business parks, and suburbs with regular public transportation at any time of the week. You can book a ride by calling or using a special app. You can start a ride with Bravoflex from any of the more than 5,000 regular bus stops in North Brabant, as well as from the more than 260 additional Bravoflex stops located throughout the province. This is available every day of the week and late into the evening, including at times when local buses are not running. For just two euros, Bravoflex takes you from a stop to a transfer stop, such as a train or bus station, where you can continue your journey. This makes Bravoflex a valuable addition to the existing public transportation system. Regional taxi companies provide the rides.
A symbolic kickoff with a special bus ride
The launch of Bravoflex in our region was symbolically celebrated with a special bus ride from Heeze-Leende via Geldrop-Mierlo to Nuenen. At the bus stop on Collseweg in Nuenen, Alderman Löwik boarded the bus for a short ride to the final stop, the Enode Community Center. There, everyone present took a moment to reflect on the accessibility of small communities.
