Voting in another municipality
Do you want to vote in a different municipality than where you live? Then apply for a voter's card. This allows you to vote in any municipality in the Netherlands.
When you apply for a voter ID card, your voter ID card expires. Therefore, you can only cast a vote with your voter ID card.
Note: You can only apply for a voter ID card once. Therefore, if you lose it, you cannot apply for a new one.
Submit your application via the green button ('apply for voter ID'). You will then receive your voter ID card by mail.
Apply for a voter ID card digitally via DigiD no later than Friday, Oct. 24, and receive your card by mail.
Request voter ID at the front desk
Do you prefer to apply for your voter card at City Hall? You can do so until Tuesday, October 28, 12:00 noon at the counter in the central hall. This is possible Monday through Friday between 08:30 - 12:30 and Wednesday afternoon between 14:30 - 19:00. Don't forget to bring valid identification.
