Candidacy for municipal elections on March 18, 2026
In Nuenen, nine parties have submitted a list of candidates who will stand for election in the 2026 municipal elections.
Determining candidate lists and numbering
- Monday, February 2, 2026: nomination day (nationwide)
On this day, political parties submitted their candidate lists and accompanying documents to the Central Electoral Committee of the municipality (the CSB).
Tuesday, February 3, 2026: closed session of the Central Electoral Committee (CEC)
Verification of the submitted documents by the CEC. Minutes of this meeting have been drawn up and can be viewed online.- Friday, February 6, 2026: public hearing of the Central Electoral Committee
During this hearing, the candidate lists and corresponding numbering were officially determined (official report Model I-4).

Appeals against decisions on candidate lists
Voters and other interested parties may lodge an appeal against decisions regarding candidate lists. These decisions concern the validity of the lists, candidates, and party names. Appeals must be lodged with theAdministrative Law Division of the Council of State.
You must submit the appeal within 4 days after the decision by the central electoral committee. For this election, this is possible until Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the latest.
You cannot appeal against the list numbering.
