Play and exercise Eeneind

The municipality of Nuenen is going to construct new playgrounds in Eeneind. Our municipality remains committed to creating spaces where residents of all ages can play, exercise and meet. We do this in cooperation with residents. 

Residents and children shared their ideas at meetings in May and June. Design firm SNK developed these ideas into final designs.

The new playground equipment will be installed in late January. Beforehand, the site will be prepared. Local residents have already received a letter with information about this.

Hoge Mikkert This location will be redesigned as a play area. In addition to the existing bird's nest swing, there will be a new tumbling frame, a playhouse with slide and a challenging climbing course. This way there will be something for every age. The wadi (collection for rainwater) will be expanded slightly, making the climbing course even more challenging. The terrain will have a natural look due to the wooden equipment and the hilly landscape. The playground will be surrounded by a hedge.
High Mikkert This location will be redesigned as a play area. Dilis Ariens Camp This location will be expanded with a double diving frame. Through the wooden step logs you can get to the other side of the wadi (collection for rainwater).
Little Heiakker We will furnish this field as a football field with two new goals. We will also place two poles from which a volleyball net can be hung. The paving of the cul-de-sac will be extended so that basketball can also be played there. Furthermore, there will be a table tennis table.
