Occasional grant application World Lights Day 2021

Every second Sunday of December, people around the world light candles at 7 p.m. in memory, in whatever way, of deceased children. So too in Nuenen. The Two Tone Foundation has applied for a grant to organize and hold World Light Day on December 12, 2021.

The college decided to provide that (one-time) grant.

Incidental Grant Baseball and Softball

Nuenen Baseball and Softball Club (HSCN) has applied for an occasional grant to provide additional training for youth.

The college decided to provide a grant of €3,000.

Occasional grant application Gerwen's Music Corps (GMK).

Gerwens Muziekkorps (GMK) has applied for an occasional subsidy of € 2,000 to organize three concerts at elementary school in Nuenen. Cooperation was sought here with the Kunstkwartier.

Regional Energy Strategy 1.0 MRE

The Metropolitan Region of Eindhoven (MRE) has been working together since 2019 on the task from the National Climate Agreement to generate 35 TWh of renewable electricity on land by 2030. The Regional Energy Strategy 1.0 for the MRE (RES 1.0), is the result of the intensive process that has taken place in the region over the past two years. It states substantiated that the MRE energy region contributes a bid of 2 TWh of renewable electricity to the national target. In addition, the RES also focuses on energy conservation and renewable heat in the region.
The council proposal "Adopt RES 1.0 MRE" is submitted to the council for decision.

WMO Regulation 2021

The City Council has an express desire to amend the regulation "Compensation for compulsory excess under the Health Insurance Act. This regulation was detailed in the Wmo ordinance. The Wmo ordinance has been adjusted accordingly. Also, the regulation has been brought more in line with the model regulation of the VNG, creating more legal security for residents and professionals. The desire of the council to simplify the regulation has been translated into the Wmo Regulation 2021 and the implementing regulation.

The college has decided to adopt the implementation regulation compensation compulsory excess health insurance law. The council proposal "Wmo Regulation" is submitted to the council for decision.

Integration Act 2022

On January 1, 2022, the new Civic Integration Act will take effect. Under the new Civic Integration Act, municipalities will become responsible for the guidance and support of those who are obliged to integrate. Municipalities have to fulfil the municipal duties in the civic integration system within the legal framework. Therefore, the Integration Ordinance Nuenen c.a. 2022 has been drafted.

The council proposal "Regulation on Integration Nuenen c.a. 2022" is submitted to the council for decision.

Decision on objection rejecting enforcement request.

On July 2, 2021, an objection was received to a letter from the college dated June 16, 2021 declaring an enforcement request inadmissible.

The College, in accordance with the advice of the Objections Committee, decided to declare inadmissible the objection to a letter from the College dated June 16, 2021, in accordance with the advice of the Objections Committee.

Decision on objection default notice

On July 8, 2021, an objection was received to a letter from the college dated June 9, 2021, informing it that the notice of default filed on May 19, 2021, is being set aside.

The College, in accordance with the advice of the Objections Committee, decided to declare the objection to a letter from the College dated June 9, 2021, inadmissible.

Note on higher building - committee memo November 2021

On December 10, 2020, the Space Committee considered the updated Note on Higher Building. At this meeting, the committee did not pass the memo for decision at the subsequent council meeting. Alderman van Brakel promised the council to develop a new proposal for a follow-up. This has been incorporated into a committee memo. The Space Committee is asked to give its opinion on the committee memo "Follow-up Memorandum on Higher Building" so that the college will have sufficient guidance to get started on the follow-up process.

The college decided to adopt the committee memo Follow-up Note on Higher Building and to submit the committee memo "Follow-up Note on Higher Building" to the Space Committee for discussion.

Street naming

New streets will be constructed in Nuenen-West in the coming period. New names need to be devised for these streets. Some previously determined streets need to be changed, due to changed plans of the developer. Also some loose (bicycle) paths without street names will be named.

The college decided to adopt the street names in Nuenen-West and the street names for the (bicycle) paths.

Covenant Green deal Health

Healthcare institutions are required to comply with increasingly stringent legislation on energy. To help healthcare institutions systematically implement sustainability in their operations, a green deal Health has been drawn up nationwide. The deal offers healthcare institutions the opportunity to postpone enforcement of compliance with the legislation for three years. Healthcare institutions use this period to obtain an environmental certificate that allows them to meet requirements for a wide range of topics in which environmental gains can be achieved. These agreements will be laid down in a covenant.

The college agreed to participate in the covenant green deal Health MRE. The Alderman social domain is authorized to sign the covenant.

Reliance on prescription parcel of municipal land

There is a 180m2 plot of municipal land in the middle of a large meadow (total approx. 6 hectares). It is patently one unit. According to the applicant, the situation has been like this since 1965. The applicant has been made aware of the presence of the municipal plot by the notary. Request is therefore to cooperate with the claim of prescription of the plot through registration of a notarial deed.

The college decided to establish the statute of limitations on the land.

Objection to partial denial of enforcement request

On June 25, 2021, an objection was received to the June 2, 2021 decision partially denying an enforcement request. The Objections Committee recommended that the objection be declared unfounded and that the contested decision be upheld.

The college agreed to declare the objection admissible in accordance with the advice of the Objections Committee, declare the objection unfounded in accordance with the advice of the Objections Committee, and uphold the contested decision of June 2, 2021.

Decision on objection environmental permit construction noise barrier at Spegelt 52 in Nuenen

A notice of objection has been filed against the environmental permit granted for the construction of a noise barrier at the corner and behind Spegelt 52 in Nuenen.

The College decided to declare the objection inadmissible, in accordance with the advice of the Objections Committee. The objector will be informed by letter.

Procurement strategy renovation Monastery

Together with architectural firm Braaksma & Roos Architecten B.V. and Boink Project & Energy Management, a final design and technical description (DO+) has been worked out for the renovation of the Monastery. This must be further developed into an Execution Ready Design (UO). This UO must then be realized. The municipality wants to select a contractor to carry out this engineering and realization assignment. The budgeted total contract value of €7,100,000 greatly exceeds the European threshold value for Works of €5,350,000. In accordance with the 2012 Procurement Act, a European procedure must therefore be followed.
