Update to the lease agreement for the Nuenen fire station

The current lease agreements for the fire station are outdated and no longer comply with current laws and regulations or reflect the actual usage situation. Updating the agreements will clearly define responsibilities, costs, and usage arrangements. This will prevent legal and financial risks and ensure the continuity of the fire station’s facilities.

The municipal executive has decided to enter into a new lease agreement with the Brabant-Southeast Safety Region for the use of the fire station at Dwerspad 20 in Nuenen.

Grant Application for the Lyndakkers Social Housing Project

Wooninc. is building 9 social housing units as part of the Lyndakkers 9 project. For this project, they have applied for a grant from the Social Housing Designated Reserve, also known as the Social Housing Fund. This fund is intended to encourage the construction of social housing and to increase the stock of social housing in the municipality. The grant application has been assessed against the 2019 Social Housing Grant Regulation, and it is recommended that the application be approved.

The council has decided to award Wooninc. a grant of €67,500 from the Social Housing Reserve for the

construction of 9 net social housing units in the Lyndakkers project. Wooninc. will be notified of the decision on the grant application via a grant decision letter.

Opinion on the Budget of the Dommel Valley Agency

The council will have the opportunity to submit its opinion on the draft first

2026 budget amendment and the draft multi-year budget for 2027–2030 for the Dommelvallei Department. The Executive Board proposes that the Council make use of this option. Therefore, the Executive Board has decided to submit the Council proposal for the draft first budget amendment for 2026 and the draft multi-year budget for 2027–2030 to the Council for a decision.

The council proposal titled “Opinion on the Draft First Budget Amendment for 2026 and the Draft Multi-Year Budget for 2027–2030 of the Dommelvallei Service (DDV)” is being submitted to the council for a decision.
