Waiver of residency requirement Alderman Van Brakel

On June 7, 2018, the council appointed Ms. Van Brakel as Alderman of the municipality of Nuenen c.a.. On that occasion, the council granted her exemption from the residency requirement in accordance with Section 36a(2) of the Municipal Law. This dispensation must be renewed annually, which happened on June 6, 2019 and May 28, 2020. The college is going to ask the council to extend the term for another year. The council proposal will be presented to the council for decision. Alderman van Brakel did not participate in the decision making on this council proposal.

Tracking participation in education and labor market of Youth In a Vulnerable Position (JIKP)

One of the tasks of municipalities is "monitoring participation in education and the labor market of young people in a vulnerable position (JIKP)" up to age 23. This concerns young people who leave practical education, secondary special education, Entree and vmbo-basic vocational course. This task has been delegated to the GGD. In 2020, the college signed a covenant with a number of regional municipalities and institutions for implementation. The college agrees to amendments to the covenant necessary for the accession of the Helmond-de Peel region and the continuation of funding. The college also agrees to the mandate of the GGD management committee. This leaves the executive tasks with the municipalities and allows them to retain control over their own officials.

Closing money loans, mandating the portfolio holder of finance, refinancing existing borrowed money loans

For 2021, financing needs will be met by long-term loans and cash, among other things. Mandate portfolio holder Finance for this purpose up to a maximum of €45 million. The Province will be informed of the cash limit excess. The college agrees to raise long-term money loans. Existing borrowings (BNG) will not be refinanced.

Temporary subsidy scheme COVID-19 relief for entrepreneurs Nuenen

The corona support package for entrepreneurs including the temporary subsidy scheme was discussed at the council meeting on March 25, 2021. A motion called on the college to increase the amount per entrepreneur to €1,500 per business. The subsidy scheme has been adjusted accordingly. The college adopts the Temporary subsidy scheme COVID-19 relief entrepreneurs Nuenen, Gerwen and Nederwetten 2021 and the department head is mandated to implement the subsidy scheme.

Council information letter (RIB) Taxbus bankruptcy Baetsen

For the contract period (16-12-2013 to 1-3-2020), the municipalities entered into a transportation agreement with Cibatax. After the bankruptcy of Cibatax in 2015, the contract was dissolved. Holding Baetsen, the parent company under which Cibatax operated, guaranteed Cibatax's fulfillment of the transport agreement. However, Holding Baetsen refused to honor that guarantee. They invoked the reserve bank agreement with Connexxion, which, however, was substantially more expensive. In response, the municipalities held Holding Baetsen liable. The RIB informs the Council of the status of this. The college agrees to the RIB after which it can be distributed by the Municipal Clerk’s Office to the Council

Advance Plan cost letter Park Street-Voirt

In accordance with the Land Policy Memorandum 2019-2023, an advance for planning costs will be charged in advance of the conclusion of an anterieure agreement. The college agrees to charge an advance for planning costs, being €28,395, for the initiation phase of the Parkstraat-Voirt development. This Advance Plan Cost Letter is to be used as a basis for further development of the standards and the process Advance Plan Cost Letter.

Environmental permit Duivendijk ongenummerd (near no. 2)

An environmental permit has been requested for the construction of a residential house on Duivendijk (near house number 2). The college decides to cooperate with the submitted application for an environmental permit, making use of the categories designated by the City Council for which no declaration of no objections is required. The draft decision will be made available for inspection for 6 weeks. If no views are submitted, the requested environmental permit will be granted.
