Reappointment of member advisory council social domain
The college accepts the nomination of the Social Domain Advisory Council and decides to appoint Ms. Boekensteijn as a member of the Social Domain Advisory Council for a period of 4 years with retroactive effect from January 1, 2020.
Applying for incidental grant 2020
Several organizations have recently applied to be considered for a one-time grant. The college decides:
- To provide a one-time contribution of € 1,500.00 to Stichting Grote Ronde van Gerwen for organizing a women's pro cycling race;
- To provide a contribution of €600.00 to Q-support on a declaration basis for organizing an exercise program for two Q fever patients living in the municipality of Nuenen;
- To provide a one-time grant to Matthäus Passion Oirschot-De Kempen Foundation, to be determined by the portfolio holder;
- To provide a one-time grant of € 750.00 to Dorpsraad Gerwen for its initiative to have 100 bird boxes made and hung to control the oak processionary caterpillar.
Motions on play and exercise Nuenen North
The council has adopted two motions on Play and Exercise in Nuenen North. The council is asked how to implement these.
The college agrees with the working method as described in the memo (neighborhood-oriented approach for the implementation of policy (neighborhoods 3 and 4) and to designate play facility Lissevoort as a pilot for a working method and division of roles as in a "Right to Challenge"). A target amount of € 60,000 is set by the college for the Lissevoort play facility. The approach will also include the need for a 2nd Youth Meeting Place in Nuenen.
Operation of advertising columns bus shelters
The municipality wants to encourage the use of public transportation. Good management and maintenance of the existing bus shelters and associated bicycle shelters is part of this. There are 17 bus shelters in the municipality. About 11 of these shelters are equipped with an advertising column. In exchange for the operation of these advertising columns, the management and maintenance of the bus shelters can be placed with Concessions Company B.V. for no consideration. The college agrees to enter into an agreement with Concessions Company B.V. for a period of 10 years.
Regional approach to denormalization of drugs
A large number of municipalities in eastern North Brabant are starting a supra-regional project to combat the increasing normalization of drug use. Work is being done from various angles: prevention, health, safety and enforcement. An important part of the project is the development of a monitor to obtain the right information.
The college decides, based on the plan of action, to participate in the project to denormalize the use of drugs in the Brabant East security region.
