Portfolio distribution as of Sept. 24, 2025
On September 23, 2025, the new mayor was installed. As a result, the college reconfirmed the current portfolio distribution. A council information letter will be sent about this.
Addition to appointment of central polling station Nuenen
The college decides on the appointment of the members of the central electoral committee at the time of the elections. The October 31, 2023 appointment of the central voting committee by the college should be amended.
The college decided to dismiss Ms. M. Arents, Mr. J. van der Heijden and Ms. A. Hermans as members of the central electoral committee as of the date from which this decision takes effect. The college decided to appoint Ms. J. Verbruggen (deputy chairman), Ms. V. de Nijs and Ms. A. Stappers as members of the central electoral committee. Pursuant to Section E 19 of the Elections Act, the mayor is chairman of the central electoral committee and therefore does not need to be appointed.
Regulations taxes, fees and charges 2026
Every year a proposal on the rates of municipal taxes, fees and charges is made to the City Council. The corresponding ordinances must be adopted by the council.
The college has approved the 2026 ordinances and the associated fee tables. The council proposal "Ordinances Taxes, Fees and Charges 2026" will be submitted to the council for decision.
Enter into lease agreement for temporary shelter for asylum seekers at Pastor's Mast
On January 13 last, a management agreement was reached between the municipality and the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) regarding the establishment of a reception location for asylum seekers within the municipality of Nuenen. This administrative agreement stipulates that the municipality will make the site at Pastoorsmast 7, 9 and 11 available to COA through a lease agreement.
The college has decided to agree to the contents of the lease agreement and to enter into a lease agreement between the municipality and COA.
Replying to written questions rush-hour closure by through traffic
On Sept. 3, 2025, Councilman Alex Appel asked written questions about rush-hour closure for through traffic.
The college decided to answer Mr. Appel's written questions by letter.
Multi-Year Multimodal Mobility Package (MMMP) Eindhoven Metropolitan Region 2025
The MMMP provides a multi-year and coherent overview of the mobility measures and tasks of the 21 MRE municipalities. These measures are in line with major regional developments and appropriate to the spatial structures. The package consists of proposals for investments in bicycle connections, public transport, behavioral measures and in the car network. The MMMP is a concretization and elaboration of the Regional Mobility Vision Southeast Brabant.
The college has agreed to the Multi-Year Multimodal Mobility Package (MMMP) for the Eindhoven Metropolitan Region with additional focus on topicality and additional corridor. The city council will be informed by a council information letter.
Program budget 2026 and multi-year estimate 2027-2029
Every year, the college presents the council with a draft budget for the coming year and a multi-year forecast for the following three years. The budget lists all the tasks and activities that the municipality will perform and the amounts that the council makes available for them. The council proposal "Program budget 2026 and multi-year estimate 2027-2029" is submitted to the council for decision.
The college decided to approve the classification of investments into "immediately available investments" and "investments yet to be submitted to the council.
First Draft 2026 Grant Program
A grant program is prepared annually with all grant applications submitted. The college adopts the first draft and sends the applicants a proposed decision regarding their application. They are given the opportunity to submit views. These views are reviewed and incorporated into the 2026 grant program.
The college decided to adopt the first draft 2026 grant program and give applicants the opportunity to submit their views on the proposed grant decisions by Nov. 4, 2025.
First draft grant LEV Group 2026
An annual grant is awarded to the LEV Group. The college adopts the first draft and sends the LEV Group a proposed decision regarding the submitted application. The LEV Group has until November 4, 2025 to submit a view. These views are reviewed and incorporated into the draft 2026 grant program. Given the size of the grant amount to the LEV Group, it will be dealt with separately.
The college decided to adopt the first draft grant amount LEV Group 2026 and send the proposed grant decision to the grant applicant.
The college decided to increase the subsidy amount for debt assistance in 2026 by € 59,331.30 once.
Grant application to accelerate housing construction from Beethoven scheme
Beethoven Wonen is a joint program of the State, ASML, Province of North Brabant and the 21 MRE municipalities. From this program, subsidies are provided to accelerate housing projects.
The college decided to agree to apply for a grant from the Beethoven scheme for the projects Kerkakkers in Gerwen and Nuenen West building field B.
The college has decided, for the necessary co-financing that cannot be covered by a grant from the Social Housing Fund, to rely on coverage from the general reserve for ground exploitation, through a council proposal to be submitted later. The council will be informed of the grant application through a council information letter.
Pupil Transport Tender 2026
The current transporter (cab company Werotax) of student transportation will cease as of July 31, 2026. We need to look for a new carrier as of that date.
The College decided to agree to the Nuenen 2026 Pupil Transport Procurement Strategy whereby:
a) to first solicit a tender from the winning party of Taxbus for Lot 1 (which Nuenen falls under) being Zorgvervoercentrale Nederland B.V. (scenario A)
b) In the event of an unsuitable tender on the basis of scenario A, to agree to European tendering for pupil transport.
The College decided to authorize the Development Department Head to set the price, make the decision for preliminary and final award and enter into the contract and sign the agreement.
Council information letter Administrative order social domain
During the council meeting of September 18, Alderman Wouters made an announcement about expenditures in the social domain and indicated that he would come with a council information letter about this. With this council information letter we inform the council about both the cause of the current expenditure in the social domain and the first
results of this management assignment.
The college decided to agree to the council information letter Administrative Order Social Domain September 2025 and send it to the council.
