Council information letter closing celebration year NGN200

The NGN200 Foundation has for the past two years given substance to the festivities surrounding the 200th anniversary of our municipality. The municipal council has made a total amount of €125,000 available to the foundation for this purpose. Now that the activities have been completed and the celebration year has concluded, the NGN200 foundation is accounting for its expenses and financial policies. The adoption of the decision is an executive power of the college.

Given the council's involvement in the NGN200 foundation and the celebration year, the council will be informed of the adoption of the decision via a council information letter.

Management on day beach Enode

Since 2021, the municipality has been responsible for the management of day beach Enode. In the meantime, decisions have been made on the implementation of temporary management, on the vision for structural management and possibilities for events on day beach Enode.
The college decided to adopt the program of requirements for the management of day beach Enode.

Grant application earmarked social housing reserve project Wederikdreef

Helpt Elkander will build 41 social housing units with the Wederikdreef project. They have applied for a subsidy for this project from the Social Housing earmarked reserve, also known as the Social Housing Fund. This fund is intended to stimulate the construction of social housing and increase the stock of social housing in the municipality. The grant application has been reviewed against the Social Housing Grant Ordinance 2019 and it is recommended that the application be granted.

The college has decided to grant Helpt Elkander a subsidy of € 307,500 from the earmarked Social Housing reserve for the construction of 41 social housing units at Wederikdreef.
Helpt Elkander will be informed of this by means of a grant decision.

Tax Ordinances 2024

Every year the council is presented with a proposal for municipal tax rates and tax ordinances.

The college approved the tax ordinances with associated rate tables.
The council proposal "Tax Ordinances 2024" is presented to the council for decision.

Program budget 2024 and multi-year estimate 2025-2027

Every year, the college presents a draft budget for the coming year and a multi-year forecast for the 3 following years to the council. The budget lists all the tasks and activities that the municipality will perform and the amounts that the council makes available for them.

The council proposal "Program budget 2024 and multi-year estimate 2025-2027" is submitted to the council for decision.
The council agreed to classify the investments into "immediately available investments" and "investments yet to be submitted to the council.

Draft 2024 grant program

An annual grant program with all submitted grant applications is prepared. The college adopts the first draft and sends applicants a proposed decision on their submitted application. Applicants were given the opportunity to submit views until October 9, 2023. The views were reviewed and incorporated into the draft 2024 grant program.

The college decided to adopt the draft 2024 grant program with response to views.
In adopting the 2024 budget, the following decision points are included:
- the grant ceiling for program 2 (safety & enforcement) is set at € 10,120.00;
- the grant ceiling for program 3 (work (participation), Health & youth) is set at € 2,090,870.00;
- the grant ceiling for program 4 (associations & accommodations) is set at € 961,837.10;
- the grant ceiling for program 5 (housing & living environment) is set at € 0.00;
- the grant ceiling for program 6 (spatial management, environment & traffic) is set at € 8,000.00;
- the grant ceiling for program 7 (economy, tourism & recreation) is set at € 2,500.00.
