Extension of pilot uniform help offer in divorce for 2020
The process by which parents and children in fighting divorces get help when they are in court must be faster. The municipality is responsible for the costs of youth protection measures imposed by the (child) courts. About two-thirds of these measures involve a complex divorce. It is preferable that parents accept help voluntarily. Therefore, the municipalities in Southeast Brabant and the court have started the pilot "uniform offer of help". Here, the children's court can agree on a care offer directly with parents on a voluntary basis. The pilot period ends at the end of 2019. The college now agrees to extend the pilot Uniform Care Offer in Divorce for the calendar year 2020.
