Initiative / Principle request spatial development Helsestraat 7
At the Helsestraat 7 there is a company residence belonging to the riding school. The initiator wishes to change the function of the company residence to 'Living' with the indication 'former company residence'.
The college decided to cooperate in principle with the initiation of a planning procedure for the use of the company residence as a "former company residence.
Appropriation for replacement bridge near the Weaving House
The heavy traffic bridge near the Weaving House can no longer be used. Urgent replacement is necessary to enable resupply, major maintenance and use in emergencies.
The college agreed to include an investment credit of €75,000 in the 2nd TURAP 2025 for the replacement of the bridge near the Weaving House.
Preferred variant projects Liveable and accessible Nuenen, cluster South
The Liveable and accessible Nuenen projects will be taken up in the coming years. For the three projects in cluster south (opening up bus lanes, noise protection facility A270 and adaptation of the Smits van Oyenlaan south), BAM-infra has put together a number of variants after tendering, which have come about partly with participation. Directional choices are needed to arrive at a financial council proposal in Q1 2026.
The college agreed to work out the preferred variants for the opening of the Geldropsedijk bus lanes, the A270 noise barrier and the redevelopment of Smits van Oyenlaan south. The choices will be explained to the city council and residents and then shared via a council information letter.
