Grant ceiling "Social Housing Grant 2022"


Setting a grant ceiling under the "Social Housing Grant Ordinance 2019" prevents an "open-ended" nature of the grant scheme. The proposed subsidy ceiling for the period from July 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022 is € 370,000 and matches the current balance of the earmarked reserve.


The College decided to set the grant ceiling for the period July 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022 at a maximum of €370,000.

National Education Program


The National Education Program (NPO) is a national financial stimulus designed to reduce educational delays and provide support to students struggling due to school closures and corona. The municipality of Nuenen will receive over €290,000. In close consultation with the principals of the Nuenen schools, a proposal for spending the municipal funds has been drawn up. The elementary school focus mainly on reading promotion, extra guidance in the lower grades, resilience, exercise and music. Nuenen College focuses on resilience, study guidance, exercise and culture.

The college approved the proposed use of National Education Program funds.

The council will be informed via a council information letter.


Purchasing Youth Aid: adjusting product cards guidance group


For the deployment of youth aid, the municipality of Nuenen uses a regional product-services catalog (PDC). From 2022, new products guidance group 1 and 2 apply. These turned out not to be in line with practice, making adjustment necessary.

The college decided to adopt the adjusted product descriptions of guidance group 1 and 2 and decided to set the rates at €43.05 per unit for guidance group 1 and at €55.62 per unit for guidance group 2.


Decision on objection refusing permit under the Empty Property Act


On April 18, 2022, a notice of objection was received against a decision dated March 10, 2022 denying an application for a permit under Article 15(1) of the Vacancy Act. The Objections Committee recommended that the objection be declared inadmissible.

The college agreed to declare the objection inadmissible, in accordance with the advice of the objection committee.


Child care supervision and enforcement annual report 2021


Municipalities are responsible for monitoring and enforcing the quality of child care. In this context, the college must report annually to the Education Inspectorate. This report, being the annual report, is sent to the municipal council via a council information letter and published on the "where does your municipality stand?" site.

The college decided to adopt the Annual Report on Supervision and Enforcement of Child Care 2021.

Application for one-time grant Kiosk Concerts 2022


Stichting Cultuur en Kunst Nuenen requests an occasional grant to organize 7 kiosk concerts in the center of Nuenen open to all Nuenen residents.

The college decided to award an occasional grant of €1,612.


Liability of operator


Several disputes arose between the municipality and an operator as a result of the SPUKIJZ 2020 benefit application and award. The municipality and the operator agreed to settle the disputes amicably. The college decided to adopt the settlement agreement and decided to mandate the coordinating Alderman to sign the settlement agreement on behalf of the municipality of Nuenen

The college agreed to make the incidental costs for the settlement of €50,000 available and included in the 2nd interim report to the council with a proposed coverage from the Corona funds line item.
