Protocol for preserving events and greenery in the Park

In 2024, the Council requested that a sustainable solution be developed to prevent damage to the greenery in the Park, so that events could continue to be held there. We developed a protocol that provides event organizers with guidelines and recommendations for holding events without damaging the greenery in the Park. 

The council has decided to adopt the "Protocol for the preservation of events and greenery in the Park." 

The council is informed about this by means of a Council Information Letter.

Pruning schedule 2026-2031

In October 2024, the council approved the mandate for the tender documents for tree pruning. The tendering process has now been completed, but the duration, scope, and costs have changed. As a result, the contract no longer corresponds to the previous council decision. This council proposal therefore proposes that the procurement strategy be adopted so that the contract can be definitively awarded and the work can commence. 

The council has decided to adopt the procurement strategy for tree pruning. 

The board has agreed to re-delegate the approval of all other tender documents to the Implementation Department Manager.

Adoption of the 2026 Annual Implementation and Enforcement Program

Under the Omgevingswet the Environment Decree, the municipal executive is required to draw up an annual implementation program for the tasks of licensing, supervision, and enforcement of environmental law. The annual program fulfills this legal obligation. This annual program describes how the municipality of Nuenen will carry out its tasks in the areas of licensing, supervision, and enforcement in the physical living environment in 2026. 

The council has decided to adopt the 2026 Annual Implementation and Enforcement Program with accompanying appendices, to announce it to the municipal council, and to send it for information to the Intergovernmental Supervisory Authority of the province of Brabant, the Police, the Brabant-Zuidoost Safety Region (VRBZO), and the Southeast Brabant Environmental Service (ODZOB).

The council is informed about this by means of a Council Information Letter.

Partial rejection of request for youth assistance

The board has agreed to reject youth assistance under the Youth Act in connection with the existing financing under the Long-Term Health Act Health Wlz) and to approve transitional care as a gesture of goodwill until March 31, 2026.

Decision on objection to environmental permit

An objection has been lodged against the environmental permit granted for changing the use of the plot and the surface area of outbuildings. The objection was heard during a hearing of the objections committee. 

The council, adopting the advice of the appeals committee, has decided to declare the appeal admissible, to declare the appeal admissible and unfounded, and to uphold the decision of August 18, 2025.

Administrative response to audit office letter on fast cycle paths

The Nuenen and surrounding area Audit Committee has drawn up an audit letter entitled "Helmond-Eindhoven fast cycle path." The Audit Committee has asked the municipal executive for an administrative response. 

The council has decided to adopt the administrative response in the form of a letter to the audit office.
