Application for environmental permit to erect temporary building Crisis Emergency Shelter

An application has been received for the establishment of a location for crisis emergency shelter for asylum seekers for the temporary accommodation of up to 50 asylum seekers for the duration of 3 months in the courtyard of the town hall.

The College decided to grant an environmental permit for the construction and use of a temporary structure for crisis emergency shelter of up to 50 asylum seekers in the courtyard of City Hall for the duration of 3 months.

Enter into agreement for temporary crisis emergency shelter

On December 21, 2023, the College decided to provide crisis emergency shelter for up to 50 asylum seekers in the courtyard of City Hall for three months. In this context, it was decided to commission CS&CO to carry out work consisting of the construction of a shelter for asylum seekers in the courtyard and to take care of maintenance and cleaning, (physical) security, overall coordination and catering for the shelter's meals.

The college decided to enter into an agreement with SC&CO to perform work related to the creation and operation of a temporary crisis emergency shelter in the courtyard of City Hall.
