Climate Challenge Calculator
In the POHO Space of the Eindhoven Urban Area, the portfolio holders have agreed to introduce the climate challenge calculation tool within the Eindhoven Urban Area. This tool enables developers to determine how to implement the challenge set out in the Urbanization Agreement to create 8 m² of new green space for each new home. The calculation tool also takes water storage requirements into account and can be used to provide insight into the commitment to nature-inclusive construction.
The council has decided not to implement the climate challenge calculation tool. The Construction Guide currently Requirements sufficient frameworks and Requirements .
Tactical policy for archiving text messages
This proposal requests the establishment of a tactical policy for archiving text messages. The tactical policy answers the 'what' and 'how' of archiving text messages. In the policy, we apply the principle of 'No, unless' for the use of text messages via applications that are not supported and managed by the organizations. By establishing this policy, we are fulfilling our archiving obligations at a tactical level. In line with information security, we are requesting a mandate so that the municipal secretary can henceforth implement tactical policy in the field of archiving and
information management may determine.
The council has decided to adopt the tactical policy for archiving text messages 2025-2029. The municipal secretary is authorized to establish subject-specific tactical policy rules applicable to the municipality.
Participation in the Landscape Incentive Scheme 2026
The province of North Brabant is asking municipalities to participate in the Landscape 2026 subsidy incentive scheme. This subsidy enables residents to create and manage landscape elements on agricultural land. The municipality's contribution is doubled by the province. The scheme is implemented by the Landscape Coordination Point of Brabants Landschap.
The council has decided to participate in the Landscape Incentive Scheme 2026 and to enter into the cooperation agreement (SOK) for the realization of the Brabant Landscape in Agricultural and Nature Areas.
The portfolio holder, Alderman , is granted power of attorney to sign the SOK.
The council has decided to set the contribution at €20,000 per year for the entire project period 2026–2031 and to cover this from the current Nature and
landscape development.
The state of affairs will be evaluated annually.
Setting rates for preschool education and toddler care for 2026
The municipality provides subsidies for the implementation of preschool education and childcare based on the Nuenen Implementation Regulations for Preschool Education and Childcare. The municipal executive may adjust the hourly rate annually. The municipality is responsible for ensuring comprehensive provision of preschool education.
The council has decided to adopt the Implementation Regulation for Subsidies for Toddler Care and Preschool Education 2026.
Migration statement GOUW to MyExports and Key2Financien
In 2023, it was decided to transfer most tax tasks from the Dommelvallei Service (DD) to the East Brabant Tax Cooperation (BSOB). Both the BSOB and the DD use the GOUW package from GouwIT for municipal taxes. Because the tax tasks have been transferred, it makes sense to say goodbye to the Gouw application and transfer the data. A migration project has been carried out for this purpose, and a migration statement must be drawn up.
The board has decided to approve the migration statement for the migration of tax data from GOUW to My-Exports and Key2Financien.
Management Letter 2025
Following the interim audit conducted over the past few weeks, the auditor has issued the management letter. The auditor's recommendations are accompanied by management comments.
The board has taken note of the 2025 management letter and has decided to adopt the management comments contained therein.
Audit 2025
The auditor will audit the 2025 financial statements in April 2026. To this end, the 2025 audit protocol, including the standards framework and the amended accountability threshold, must be established.
The council proposal "Audit 2025" is submitted to the council for decision-making.
