04 Continuation of STORM for the 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 school years
The STORM (Strong Teens and Resilient Minds) program is a preventive program that promotes the development of a positive self-image, resilience, and mental strength among young people. The program is offered in secondary schools. In 2024, the municipal executive entered into a cooperation agreement with Stichting 113 for the 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 school years. The municipal executive has decided to extend this agreement for the 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 school years and to allocate a total of €31,295.75 for this purpose, to be paid to the GGD.
The board has decided:
1. To enter into a cooperation agreement with Stichting 113 for the implementation and co-financing of STORM for the 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 school years.
2. To allocate an amount of €13,361.11 for the 2026–2027 school year and an amount of €17,934.62 for the 2027–2028 school year, and to pay these amounts to the GGD.
05 Proposed Process for the First Phase of the Nuenen 2050 Vision for the Future
The 2026–2030 coalition agreement states that a vision for the future of Nuenen leading up to 2050 will be developed. This vision will form the basis for our municipality’s development and will be developed in collaboration with residents, business owners, and community partners.
The council proposal focuses on Phase 1 of the process to develop a Vision for the Future 2050 for Nuenen, specifically on the “Prioritization” component. Based on the assessment that has now been completed, priorities will be established and key strategic choices determined in this phase. These will be set out in a Strategic Direction Document, which will also include an action plan for the public engagement process in Phase 2.
The council proposal titled “Proposed Process for the First Phase of the Nuenen 2050 Vision for the Future” is being submitted to the council for a decision.
