Membership Brainport for Each Other

Brainport for Each Other is an association of employers based in the Brainport region. The purpose of the association is to bring together different ideas and expertise so that social issues can be addressed more effectively.

The college decided to join Brainport for Each Other.

Amended Adoption of Zoning Plan 'Wettenseind ong., Nuenen'

The draft zoning plan has been available for review. Three views and two opinions were submitted. These have led to amendment of the zoning plan. The zoning plan can now be presented to the city council for adoption as amended.

The college decided to approve the zoning plan 'Wettenseind ong., Nuenen' and to adopt the Nota van Zienswijzen. The council proposal 'Adoption zoning plan 'Wettenseind ong., Nuenen' will be submitted to the council for decision-making.

Views on supra-regional cooperation Eindhoven Metropolitan Region

Within the Eindhoven Metropolitan Region (MRE), the 21 municipalities in Southeast Brabant work together on topics such as housing, mobility and the economy. The region is currently experiencing a jump in scale. This growth can be felt within and outside the region. Therefore, we want to work more closely in the MRE context with the municipalities of Meierijstad, Weert and Venlo. To this end, draft regulations and draft cooperation agendas have been drawn up. The council and the college have the opportunity to submit their views on this.

The college decided to propose that the council submit a view.

The council proposal 'Zienswijze bovenregionale samenwerking Metropoolregio Eindhoven'.

Cooperation agreement housing construction Gerwen and Nederwetten, municipality of Nuenen with development company Ruimte voor Ruimte (RvR)

The college wants to accelerate housing construction in Gerwen and Nederwetten. A feasibility study for this was previously done and submitted to the city council.

The council adopted the study and associated development strategy (February 2025). In doing so, the board and council also expressed their ambition to enter into a formal cooperation with development company Ruimte voor Ruimte. In view of procurement law, municipal procurement policy and in order to establish that no other (market) parties are interested in this (form of) cooperation, the college has decided to publish the agreement on Tenderned. No responses to the publication were received from market parties.

The college took note of the fact that no other market parties have come forward under the cooperation agreement housing Gerwen and Nederwetten.

The college decided to enter into the cooperation agreement housing construction Gerwen and Nederwetten with development company Ruimte-voor-Ruimte and to publish the announcement of entering into and concluding the cooperation agreement in accordance with the Procurement Act (2012).

The mayor authorizes Alderman Kok to sign this cooperative agreement. A council information letter will be sent to the City Council.
