Safe Home Southeast Brabant performs the legal tasks in the field of domestic violence and child abuse for the 21 regional municipalities. The 2021 budget has increased compared to 2020. Bridging agreement animal emergency shelter
The municipality is required by law to provide shelter for all stray animals. We have entered into an agreement with the Animal Protection Society for this purpose. This agreement expires on December 31, 2020. At the moment, the Animal Protection Society is working on new premises, as the current building no longer meets current requirements and standards. The new building is expected to be ready in 2021. In order to bridge the period until the new premises are ready, we want to enter into a bridging agreement with the Animal Protection Society. The college agrees to a bridging agreement with the Animal Control Society that will ensure we continue to meet the legal obligation and Health to continue to provide shelter for stray animals.
Overrun sewer project budgets
Unforeseen repairs due to identified defects resulted in an overrun of a sewerage project budget. Furthermore, the cost of constructing a new network of monitoring wells proved higher than originally estimated. The college approves the expenditure on the project budgets. The excess will be included in the financial statements. The additional costs will be charged to the sewerage provision.
