Relocation of Hugo Brouwer mosaic in Nuenen West
The college has agreed to reinstall Hugo Brouwer's mosaic artwork on the facade of an apartment building (De Vorst I) in Nuenen West phase 1. The cost of reinstating the artwork in 2027 will be financed from existing budgets (Cultural Heritage).
Werotax pupil transport contract 2025 and first half of 2026
After the sudden stop of Taxibedrijf van de Zanden on December 31, 2024, Werotax took over the transport. It has since emerged that many unforeseen problems surfaced in this sudden takeover. One of these problems is the fare. Werotax has indicated its willingness to provide transportation until August 1, 2026. However, for a higher rate. In the meantime, the municipality of Nuenen is going to launch a tender.
The college decided to enter into a contract with Werotax.
Grant application earmarked social public housing project Jo van Dijkhof
Helpt Elkander will build 7 social housing units within the existing Jo van Dijkhof complex. They have applied for a subsidy for this project from the Social Housing earmarked reserve, also known as the Social Housing Fund. This fund is intended to stimulate the construction of social rental housing and increase the stock of social rental housing in the municipality.
The college decided to award Helpt Elkander a grant of €52,500 from the Social Housing earmarked reserve for the construction of 7 social housing units within the Jo of Dijkhof.
Amendment of general procurement terms and conditions
The general purchasing conditions for supplies and services of the municipality of Nuenen date from 2013 and need to be updated.
The College decided to adopt the General Conditions of Purchase of Supplies and Services and Addendum as amended as shown in the Appendix.
Regional Energy Strategy (RES) 2025 progress report
The Regional Energy Strategy (RES) 2025 progress report is ready and presented to the College of B&W for information. It reports on the progress on the ambitions from the RES 1.0 (2021). The main conclusion is that, as a region, we must make every effort to achieve the RES 1.0 bid, to generate 2TWh of large-scale renewable electricity generation by 2030.
The College takes note of the RES MRE 2025 progress report and related information letters to the City Council, the Province, the Water Board and the National RES Program.
Mandate and authorization decree Child Care Act.
The College decides to grant mandate and authorization for a number of powers in connection with the implementation of the Child Care Act.
The College adopts the Mandate and Authorization Decision Child Care Act and publishes such adoption in the prescribed manner.
May circular municipal fund 2025
The May Circular Municipal Fund 2025 was published after the preparation of the Framework Memorandum and the Spring 2025 Interim Report, and thus not incorporated into both documents. It was agreed that the council will be informed as soon as possible with a council information letter about the May Circular. The financial processing will be done for 2025 with a separate council proposal with budget amendment. The years from 2026 will be processed in the 2026-2029 budget.
The college agrees with the assumptions used for the May Circular 2025. The council information letter May Circular Municipal Fund 2025 is sent to the council.
