The regulations for the volunteer award have been updated and the regulations for the youth ribbon have been drafted. The college adopts the regulations for the volunteer award and youth ribbon.

Policy Rules Temporary Support Necessary Expenses (Tonk)

The State has directed municipalities to provide temporary income support measures to residents due to the corona crisis. The Temporary Support Necessary Costs (Tonk) should provide for a contribution of housing costs in the first half of 2021. The municipality adopts policy rules for this purpose, which are part of the Special Assistance Policy. The college adopts the policy rules Temporary support necessary costs Tonk Nuenen 2021. The State funds for Tonk are used to implement the scheme.

Nuenen environmental vision - draft available for inspection

In our environmental vision, the existing policy for the physical living environment and the amended and new ambitions are translated into one integrated long-term vision, with the theme 'health' as the connecting factor. The environmental vision was drawn up with the help of an extensive participation process and as an elaboration of the Environmental Agenda. The ambient vision Nuenen is now ready as a draft for public participation in accordance with the municipal Inspraakverordening and in line with the future article 16.26 of the Omgevingswet. The college decides to make the draft Environmental Vision Nuenen available for public inspection.

Access to be included in Nuenen West rezoning plan

For the adoption of the zoning plan, the college must first make a decision about the access to the Nuenen West planning area. It is proposed that the refined variant X be included in the zoning plan to be adopted for opening up Nuenen West. This variant scores best in terms of urban development (connection with Nuenen), road safety (including for cyclists) and quality of life (noise). It can therefore be best substantiated in terms of content and can also be better justified legally. The college decides to include Disconnection Variant X in the Nuenen West re-evaluation zoning plan to be adopted. The council will be informed by means of a council information letter and a report. Both will also be published on the website.

Urgent-home seekers come to the helm themselves

December 2019, the City Council adopted the Nuenen c.a. 2020-2023 Housing Ordinance. This ordinance took effect on January 1, 2020. The other municipalities of the Urban Area Eindhoven (SGE) have adopted the same Housing Ordinance. An important change in this Housing Ordinance compared to the previous ordinance is that urgent housing seekers are given the opportunity to respond to the housing offer themselves, thus putting the tenant 'in the driving seat'. The Housing Ordinance left it to college to determine when this will take effect (pending elaboration). This proposal ensures that the self-seeking by urgents in accordance with regional agreement will take effect on March 1. The college takes note of the elaboration of the "tenant self-seeking" aspect and determines that Article 6, paragraph 9 of the Housing Ordinance will take effect on March 1, 2021.
