RES cooperation and implementation program.
The Cooperation and Implementation Program RES (S&UP) is a first version of an overview of all efforts by municipalities, provincial authorities, water boards, grid managers and other social partners in our region to shape the energy transition. The overview is a snapshot that will be kept up to date as part of monitoring and will change as new themes, projects and coalitions emerge. The S&UP is a prelude to the RES Progress Document 2023, which will be presented to the State no later than July 1, 2023.
The College decided to adopt the Cooperation and Implementation Program of the MRE Regional Energy Strategy.
Objection to decision
On March 24, 2022, the college decides not to process a request for deletion of personal data under the AVG because the identity of the petitioner could not be sufficiently established. On June 3, 2022, the college receives an objection from the objector to the above decision. The Objections Committee recommended that the objection be declared manifestly unfounded and that the contested decision be upheld.
The college decided to declare the objection admissible, adopt the committee's advice and declare the objection manifestly unfounded.
The contested decision is upheld.
Designation decision on Data Protection Officer for the Police Data Act.
In 2019, the college appointed two Data Protection Officers (FGs). The FGs ensure that the municipality complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and related privacy laws when processing personal data. Having and formally designating an FG is mandatory for government agencies.
Recently, nationwide awareness has arisen that Extraordinary Investigating Officers (BOAs) process personal data not covered by the AVG, but under the regime of the Police Data Act (Wpg). As the employer of BOAs, the College of B&W is required under the Wpg, as it was before the AVG, to designate an FG to monitor compliance with the law.
The college decides to designate two employees of the Dommelvallei Service as Data Protection Officers for the Police Data Act.
