Termination of agreement LON on producing council meetings
The renovated Klooster will have an automated system for video recording of meetings. Therefore, the municipality of Nuenen wants to terminate the agreement between it and local broadcaster Nuenen (LON) for producing and broadcasting the council meetings.
The college has decided to terminate the agreement, subject to a notice period, as of January 1, 2026.
Proposition "Nuenen; Everything from NOW"
The environmental vision states that our residents see Nuenen as green, village-like, quiet and cozy. These four core qualities have been translated into a unique proposition for Nuenen: 'Nuenen; Everything from NOW'. It has been cast in the form of an interactive pdf, which also makes it visually appealing and distinctive. It is intended as a compass for future policy for the local leisure economy.
The college has decided to accept the proposition 'Nuenen; Alles van NU' for notification.
Adoption of inspiration framework public space Nuenen-Zuid
The Inspiration Framework for the (re)design of the public space in Nuenen-Zuid is a follow-up to the adopted Structural Vision for this area. In view of the many (spatial) developments, tasks and ideas for Nuenen-Zuid, there is a strong need for these frameworks from both the Realization Department and the Development Department.
The college has decided to adopt the Inspiration Framework for Public Space Nuenen-Zuid and to embed it in the Environmental Program for Residential Areas, which is still to be drawn up.
Appointment of street name committee member
Due to the departure of one of the committee members, the committee has fallen below the required number of 3 members. The chairman of the street name committee proposes to appoint a new candidate as committee member.
The college decided to appoint the proposed candidate as committee member street name committee municipality of Nuenen, Gerwen and Nederwetten for the period of 5 years.
Resignation of street name committee member
Due to health reasons, a committee member has resigned from the street naming committee. The President asked the College to dismiss this committee member from the position of street naming committee member.
The College decided to dismiss the committee member as a member of the street naming committee.
Collective exemptions noise 2025
Pursuant to the General Local Bye-Law, the Municipal Executive annually determines collective days on which the noise limits from the (temporary) environmental plan, do not apply to the (catering) businesses.
The Municipal Executive has decided to designate the days of carnival, fair Nuenen village and Gerwen as collective festivities for 2025, so that use can be made of extended noise limits.
Views on initiative proposal to reduce burden
The VVD and Combination groups have submitted an initiative proposal to allocate 25% of the result of the annual accounts, in the event of a positive result, to the reduction of expenses for our residents.
The college has taken note of the initiative proposal for tax relief. The view of the college will be sent to the council.
Funding foundation Safe Home Southeast Brabant for 2025 and 2026
Municipalities have the legal obligation to provide Health for an advice and reporting point for domestic violence and child abuse. The contract with stichting Veilig Thuis Zuidoost-Brabant (Safe Home Southeast Brabant) has been concluded for the period 2021 through 2024 and will be tacitly renewed for two years thereafter.
The college decides to approve the 2025-2026 multi-year budget of Safe Home. The college decides to set the contribution for the municipality of Nuenen for 2025 at € 151,828 and to present the additional costs of € 7,968 compared to the 2025 budget to the council in the first interim report 2025. The college agrees to index the municipal contribution annually in the same way as the budget of Safe Home is indexed.
Management letter 2024
The auditor has issued the Management letter following the interim audit in recent weeks. The auditor's opinions in that Management Letter have been commented on. The auditor's opinion on budget regularity affects the October 28, 2024 College decision on the Board's 2024 audit proposal.
The college decided to revoke the college decision dated October 28, 2024 on the council decision on the audit 2024 for the 2024 budget legitimacy procedure section. The management letter 2024 is accepted for notification. The comments in the management letter 20024 are adopted.

Self-use exemption and alienation restriction
An applicant is requesting a waiver for the self-use and alienation restriction component as stipulated in the deed of conveyance for his yet-to-be-constructed new home. The recommendation is to grant a waiver with the condition that the home be sold for the original purchase price, plus the cost of making the home livable.
The college has decided to grant a waiver with respect to self-use and alienation restriction for the sale of the home under the Requirements as included in the letter. The applicant will be notified by letter.
Performance agreements housing associations 2025
The municipality, housing corporations and tenant organizations make annual performance agreements. These agreements are about our public housing ambitions and goals and what is needed to achieve them. Subjects in the performance agreements include: the availability and affordability of social rental housing, sustainability, social issues and specific target groups. The parties signing the agreements are: the municipality of Nuenen, housing corporations Helpt Elkander and Wooninc, their tenant organizations and Woonzorg Nederland.
The college has decided to adopt the performance agreements 2025-2029. The council will be informed via a council information letter.
Views Grant Program 2025
The college took note of the views received and adopted the 2025 grant program. The additional grant amount of €21,000 will be included in the first interim report of 2025.
Continued partnership Van Gogh National Park for period 2025 - 2028
When signing the Cooperation Agreement for the period 2024 - 2028, the college decided to make the contribution available only for 2024. This was in anticipation of obtaining National Park status. Now that the status has been obtained, the contribution for the years 2025 through 2028 can be committed.
The college has decided to make available the requested annual contribution of €8,572 per year for the years 2025 through 2028.
Addendum turap budget compliance
On December 4, 2024 the autumn 2024 interim report is on the agenda of the judgment-forming council meeting. After the preparation of this report with council proposal, new information has become known about legality. In this we see reason to offer an addendum to the council with an additional budget amendment.
The college decided to add the addendum and the additional budget amendment to the meeting documents of the council proposal Interim Report Fall 2024 and present them to the council.
