Mandate GGD supervision of Temporary Measures Act Covid-19 (child care).

The Covid-19 Temporary Measures Act (Twm) amends the Public Health Act (Wpg). The Twm includes the measures to be taken to combat the Covid-19 pandemic. In the new section 58r under chapter of the Public Health Act, the relevant sections of the Child Care Act have been declared applicable for supervision and enforcement thereon. This regulates that the Director of Public Health (DPG) of the GGD supervises compliance with the measures at child centers, guest parent agencies and facilities for guest parent care. The college has decided to appoint the Director of Public Health (DPG) of the GGD as supervisor, as referred to in article 1.61 of the Childcare Act. The latter may authorize one or more employees to act as supervisors under the responsibility of the DPG.

Views on proposed sale of social property

Helpt Elkander has decided to sell the space at Kloosterstraat 15 where Zuidzorg is now located, subject to reservation, so that it can be used for commercialHealth) purposes. It concerns social real estate. Permission from the Housing Corporation Authority is required for a sale. This permission requires a municipal view, which Helpt Elkander is now asking the college for. However, the college wants to avoid selling social or public housing real estate. About 6 social housing units could be developed in the property. The college is therefore adopting a negative view to be sent to Helpt Elkander.
