04 Draft Heating Program for Nuenen
The draft Nuenen Heating Program updates the Heating Transition Vision (2021) and provides guidance for implementing the heating transition during the 2026–2030 period. Based on current insights, a reassessment has been conducted to determine which heating solutions are best suited to the local situation. In doing so, the municipality has opted for a facilitative and incentivizing approach, supporting residents, businesses, and community organizations in making buildings more sustainable. The draft Heating Program will be available for public review for six weeks, allowing stakeholders to submit comments. The comments received will be taken into account in the final adoption of the Heating Program.
The municipal executive has decided to adopt the draft Nuenen Municipal Heating Program and to make it available for public inspection for six weeks, in accordance with Section 3.4 of the General Administrative Law Act. The council will be informed of this in a council information letter.
05 Youth Participation 2026

06 Council Information Letter: Decision by the General Board of the GR Jeugdregio “A 10 for Youth” on the 2026 Budget Amendment and the 2027 Budget
At its meeting on July 2, 2026, the council adopted its opinion on the 2026 budget amendment and the 2027 budget. In response, the GR’s executive committee sent a response and made minor adjustments to the 2027 budget. The general board subsequently adopted it as well. The Dommelvallei+ municipalities issued an explanation of their vote.
The executive committee has decided to adopt the council information letter and forward it to the council.
07 Participation in the “ Alderman ” educational facilities committee for the VVE board of the (school) building at Ouwlandsedijk 27
In October 2020, the municipal executive decided to divide the (school) building at Ouwlandsedijk 27 and transfer legal ownership of the school portion to the Platoo school board. When a building is divided, a homeowners’ association (VvE) is required.
The council has decided to appoint Alderman Vrijsen–de Corte as director of the homeowners’ association for the (school) building at Ouwlandsedijk 27 in Nuenen.

09 Amendment to the Joint Regulation of the GGD Brabant-Zuidoost
The council has previously exercised its right to submit comments on the amendment to the Joint Regulation (GR) of the GGD Brabant-Zuidoost. The General Board (AB) of the GGD has decided to adopt the draft regulation as is. The Executive Board is requesting the council’s authorization to adopt the amended Joint Regulation (GR) for the GGD Brabant-Zuidoost. The decision will be shared with the GGD’s General Board.
The council proposal “Amendment to the GR GGD Brabant-Zuidoost” is being submitted to the council for a decision.
10 Council Information Letter: Update on Progress Regarding Steel Slag
On June 4, 2026, the council decided to implement Scenario 2 for the management of steel slag in the municipality and allocated the necessary funds for this purpose.
The executive board has decided to inform the city council, via a council briefing letter, about the progress of the implementation of Scenario 2.
11 Municipal Opinion on the Draft Water District Ordinance
The draft water board ordinance of the Brabant water boards is available for public review through September 18. Although the municipality supports the ordinance’s objectives, there are concerns regarding its current formulation, feasibility, and proportionality. The purpose of this statement of views is to preserve the objectives while preventing unnecessary obstacles to municipal tasks such as housing construction, energy transition, and climate adaptation. In addition, attention is drawn to the many ambiguities regarding the scope and application of the rules. In this regard, the municipality is committed to a workable and effective regulation that contributes to a climate-resilient region.
The Executive Board has decided:
1. To submit the opinion on the water board ordinance to the Dommel Water Board;
2. To send the council information letter to the municipal council;
3. To grant Marjan Vrijnsen - de Corte ( Alderman ) the authority to make final revisions to both documents.
