Management ordinance municipal cemeteries municipality of Nuenen c.a. 2026
The management and maintenance of the Oude Landen cemetery will be taken over by the municipality as of January 1, 2026. A new Management Ordinance has been drafted for this purpose. The ordinance applies to both municipal cemeteries: Old Landen and Old Tower.
This ordinance aligns with current legal frameworks and secures a
future-proof cemetery management.
The council proposal "Management ordinance municipal cemeteries municipality of Nuenen c.a. 2026" is submitted to the council for decision.
The college also decided to adopt the Implementation Decree Municipal Cemetery Municipality of Nuenen c.a. 2026. This is subject to the adoption of "Management Ordinance Municipal Cemetery Municipality of Nuenen c.a." by the council.
SPUK transformation plans IZA mental health network MGN, co-sufficient and penmanship
In the Integral Care Agreement (IZA) agreements were made regarding accessibility, affordability and quality of Health. Two transformation plans have been drawn up for the 15 municipalities in the IZA Eindhoven-De Kempen region: Samen Redzaam in het netwerk and Mental Health. The Eindhoven municipality has submitted these plans to health insurer CZ. Subsequently, an application can be made under the Specific Allowance (SPUK) Transformation Resources. All colleges in the IZA Eindhoven-De Kempen region must ratify this and give Eindhoven a mandate to act as the coordinator for this.
The college decided to ratify the Transformation Plan Samenredzaam in het netwerk and the Transformation Plan Mental Health and to adopt the mandate decision Transformation Plans and SPUK Transformation Resources Municipality Nuenen 2025. The college decided to enter into the SPUK Transformation Resources Agreement.
Joint Arrangement (GR) A 10 for Youth
The municipality of Nuenen is part of youth care region A 10 for Youth. Municipalities must formalize cooperation in a joint arrangement (GR). The council was given the opportunity to submit an opinion and gave the college permission to enter into a GR.
The college decided to enter into the GR Youth Region A 10 for Youth and to terminate the current cooperation agreement A 10 for Youth 2.0. The college decided to appoint Alderman Wouters as a member of the General Board of the GR Youth Region A 10 for Youth and Alderman Löwik as his replacement.
Desired public transportation (OV) subregion east
The Brainport region is facing a jump in scale and with it a rapidly growing number of travel movements. The importance of a good public transport network is therefore increasing. In the 'ov desirable image subregion east] are the main ambitions of our subregion regarding public transport included. The shared vision can also be used as a basis for local ov-strategy.
The college decided to adopt the 'Wensbeeld ov subregio oost' and to inform the council about this by means of a council information letter
Note on Sustainability and Climate
With the Note on Sustainability and Climate, the council sets the strategic direction for the municipal sustainability and climate policy in the period 2025-2030. The memorandum is an update of the Sustainability Memorandum 2019-2023 and is a further elaboration of the Nuenen Environmental Vision in the area of sustainability and climate.
The college approved the Sustainability and Climate Note.

Views of college merger housing corporation Helpt Elkander and Wooninc.
The housing associations Helpt Elkander and Wooninc. took the decision in June this year to merge as of January 1, 2026. This merger must be approved by the Housing Authority. When applying for the merger, the views of the municipalities where the merged housing corporation operates are also sent along. The municipality of Nuenen gives a positive opinion with a number of points of attention.
The college agreed to the view on the consequences of the merger between Helpt Elkander and Wooninc. and decided to inform the council about this by means of a council information letter.
