Prevention of homelessness
In the Social Care Administrative Agreements 2020-2026, it has been established with all municipalities in the Eindhoven region that each municipality is responsible for prevention of homelessness (reducing inflow) and aftercare (promoting outflow).
A regional plan of approach for the prevention of homelessness was subsequently drawn up. This includes a joint action plan that allows for efficient work on common themes and safeguards this cooperation in the region. In consultation with the region, priority is given to the realization of 3 concrete spearheads: basic requirements for stable housing (registration BRP, postal address, ID), no one leaves an institution/shelter without shelter and the prevention of evictions. In addition, we realize knowledge exchange on various themes including reception of labor migrants, neighborhood mental health and complex casuistry.
The college has agreed to the regional plan of approach for the prevention of homelessness.
The college has also agreed to make € 8000 available from the decentralization allowance Broad Approach to Homelessness for assignment by the Municipality of Eindhoven to a project leader to support the proposed regional preventive approach.
The city council will be informed by means of a council information letter.
Removal of designation of municipal monument
A monument status was wrongly included on the parcel of land cadastral number Nuenen B 5978. After discussion in the monument committee it has also been determined that designation on this parcel is not desirable.
The college decided to remove the Nuenen B 5978 parcel from the municipal monument list, remove it from the heritage register and deregister it from the Basic Register of Cadastral Public Law Restrictions (BKR-PB).
Completion day beach Enode
Several disputes arose between the municipality and Laco Enode BV as a result of the delivery of the Enode day beach after the terminated lease. The municipality and Laco have agreed to settle the disputes amicably and draw up an agreement for that purpose.
The college agreed to the settlement agreement.
The mayor authorized the Alderman social real estate to sign the settlement agreement on behalf of the municipality.
The incidental costs for delivery á €50,000 will be made available and included in the next interim report to the council with a proposed coverage from the contingency item.
