2025 Annual Report of the Municipality of Nuenen
The draft 2025 annual report and financial statements for the municipality of Nuenen are now ready. The auditor can now begin the audit. Following the audit, the final annual report and financial statements will be resubmitted to the municipal executive at the end of May, along with the auditor’s report and a proposal to the council, after which the documents will be published and sent to the council.
The municipal executive has reviewed the draft 2025 annual financial statements of the municipality of Nuenen and surrounding areas and has decided to submit them to the auditor.
Guidelines for the Bidding Phase of the Kloostertuin Project
The council has decided to approve the content of the Bidding Phase Guidelines for the Kloostertuin housing development. These guidelines have been adopted as the official document for the second phase of the market selection process and will be released for publication on Mercell so that the Bidding Phase can begin on the scheduled start date.
The council will be informed of the current status via a council briefing letter.
The board has taken note of the four selected parties that have advanced to the bidding phase.
Appointment of the Village and Neighborhood Council for 2026–2030
On March 18, 2026, elections for the village and neighborhood councils were held, and new members were elected by residents of the respective districts. As stipulated in the 2025 Village and Neighborhood Council Regulations, the members are appointed as members of an advisory committee to the Municipal Executive.
The council has decided to appoint the members of the village and neighborhood councils.
Opinion on the Draft Financial Statements for 2025 and the Draft Budget for 2027 of the WSD Municipal Council
Each year, the WSD makes its financial documents available to the participating municipalities. The municipal council is given the opportunity to express its opinion on the previous year’s financial statements and the budget for the coming year. It is proposed that the council review the WSD’s financial documents and that it be recommended to express its opinion.
The council proposal titled “Opinion on the Draft Financial Statements for 2025 and the Draft Budget for 2027 of WSD” is being submitted to the council for a decision.
Written question - Moles' Mounds Cemetery
The VVD caucus has submitted written questions regarding molehills at the Oude Landen Cemetery.
The executive board has approved the responses to the written questions, which will be sent to the council.
