Intention to sell land project The Milestone
On November 26, 2021, the Supreme Court handed down the Didam judgment. This judgment ruled, among other things, that municipalities have a duty of publication if they intend to sell land. The municipality of Nuenen owns the land on which the De Mijlpaal project is projected. Before proceeding with the actual sale of these lands to the two initiators of this project, we must publish this intention to sell the lands. The college has agreed that the municipality of Nuenen intends to sell part of the land on which the project is projected to the two initiators of this project. The intention to sell will be announced via the Municipal Gazette and municipal notices in the local newspapers.
Waiver of residency requirement Alderman Van Stiphout
On June 16, 2022, the Council appointed Ms. Van Stiphout as Alderman of the Municipality of Nuenen c.a.. Pursuant to Section 36a(2) of the Municipal Law, the Council may grant exemption from the residency requirement for a period of one year. The council proposal to waive the residency requirement for Alderman van Stiphout is submitted to the council for decision-making.
Communication and participation plan Construction Guide
The process to arrive at the Building Guide is going to be launched this fall (2022). The council has requested that a broader commitment to participation also be made. Therefore, a Communication and Participation Plan has been prepared. This plan clarifies all stakeholders, the intended steps in the area of communication as well as the proposed approach to work with a sounding board group (including social parties and a representation of residents). The college decided to adopt the Communication and Participation Plan.
Decision on objection rejection of urgency decision social rental property
The regional urgency scheme to accelerate eligibility for social housing is meant to be a safety net. According to the regional urgency committee, an applicant does not meet the criteria. The applicant has lodged an objection.
On the advice of the Eindhoven Objections Committee, the college decided to declare the objection admissible and unfounded and to uphold the contested decision.
