Sale of municipal property Nuenen-West

Nuenen Municipality has purchased several existing homes with associated land in Nuenen-West in the past. Some of these homes are not needed for development and can now be sold again.

The college decided to sell a residential property located on Opwettenseweg through public sale and to sell part of the Opwettenseweg plot to the owners of the adjacent plot. A self-occupancy obligation of two years will be included in the purchase agreement.

Addendum to loans Helpt Elkander

Through the Social Housing Guarantee Fund (WSW), loans from housing corporations for the construction of social rental housing are guaranteed. Last year, the college agreed to change the system (municipality as backstop). This was necessary to strengthen the security position of WSW in the event of a claim on the guarantee. As a follow-up, an agreement on existing loans from the municipality to Helpt Elkander must now be supplemented with an addendum, which strengthens the position of the WSW in case of problems. This has no negative effects for the municipality as lender of the loans.

The college agreed to the addendum proposed by the WSW and decided to have the mayor sign the addendum on behalf of the municipality.

Waive/subsidize dues

Two initiators have come forward to the municipality requesting reimbursement of fees. However, according to current policy, this is not possible.

The college decided not to waive or subsidize the fees.
