Start statement risk fund
The Netherlands Municipalities Risk Management Fund is an initiative of municipalities and the Association of Netherlands Municipalities (VNG) to strengthen the risk management of municipal buildings and provide an affordable and stable insurance solution. The starting point for the collective indemnity insurance is the establishment of a limited liability company (NV) owned 50% by the participating municipalities and 50% by VNG. In order to establish the interest of the municipalities, a start-up declaration has been prepared. If enough municipalities issue this declaration to VNG, next steps towards the actual establishment can be taken. The starting declaration is not binding.
The college decided to sign the starting statement for establishment of and participation in the Risk Management Fund and agreed to the draft council information letter "Risk Management Fund" and bring it to the attention of the council.
