In November 2020, the MIRT study on Urbanization and Accessibility Brainport was completed. This MIRT study assumes a regional task of 62,000 homes and 72,000 jobs until 2040. This has led to agreements between the national government and the region. One of those agreements is the drafting and signing of an Urbanization Agreement between regional municipalities SGE, province of North Brabant and the State.
The college decided to adopt the "Outline of the Urbanization Agreement" as a prelude to the Urbanization Agreement itself and to concretize the agreement part of the Urbanization Agreement based on the outline.
The council information letter on this is adopted and sent to the City Council.
Objection to termination of benefits Participation Act
An objection was made to a decision to terminate Participation Act (PW) benefits as of May 1 because the right to benefits could no longer be determined.
The College decided to declare the appeal against the contested decision admissible and, contrary to the committee's opinion, to declare the appeal unfounded. The contested decision is upheld.
Decision on objection urgency social rental housing
The regional urgency scheme, to accelerate eligibility for social housing, is meant to be a safety net. According to the regional Urgency Committee, which evaluates urgency requests, an applicant does not meet the criteria. She objected to this.
The College decided to declare the objection, in accordance with the advice of the Objections Committee, admissible and unfounded and thus to uphold the contested decision.
The decision on the objection will be sent to the objector.
