Submit a public comment
In certain cases, you can submit comments on the municipality’s draft plans or designs. This is called a public comment. You can submit a public comment on draft plans or designs for which no decision has yet been made. The municipality will notify you of the existence of draft plans or decisions through the Municipal Gazette (on overheid.nl) and/or its website and/or door-to-door flyers and/or a letter addressed to you.
The municipality may take your public comment into account in the next steps of the process. This may mean that the draft plan or design will still change, but that is not necessarily the case.
