Changes to the recycling center and waste collection in Blink due to the heat

Due to the expected high temperatures, Blink will adjust the opening hours of the recycling center from Thursday, July 9, through Wednesday, July 15, 2026. This is a precautionary measure to protect employees and visitors from the extreme heat.

The revised opening hours are:

• Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• On Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• There are noafternoon or evening hours.

There are also revised schedules for trash collection:

• These days, trash collection starts at 6:30 a.m.(instead of 7:30 a.m.). 
• If trash is put out too late, the collection truck will not return.
